Applican Bursary Applications

We believe in equal opportunities for all students applying to university. That is why, ever since Applican was founded in 2014, we have set aside one full bursary place in every one of our courses for students who would not be able to attend otherwise.

Each year we get many applications for our bursary places, and we always find it a challenge to select which students receive the award. Therefore, we have strict criteria for our bursary places that is included below.

Every student who applies fulfilling the criteria below will receive a 50% discount code redeemable for one course.

  • You are REACH or PATHWAYS eligible student.

  • You will be applying for Medicine or Dentistry in the next UCAS year.

  • Without this bursary, you would not be able to attend one of our courses.

To qualify for the full Applican bursary, please choose one course (Intense UKCAT or Applican Course) and write a blog post (Max 1000 words) on any topic of your choice. This could be something in Medicine that interests you, an experience you had or anything in-between!

The entries will be marked by our team and one full bursary will be allocated for each of our courses. The best blog posts will also have a chance of being published on our website - potentially something to boast about on a personal statement soon!

The deadline for submissions is 15th August 2019. Bursary places will be sent on 21 August 2019. If you have any questions about our bursary process please do not hesitate to get in touch with our team.

I agree that I am Reach or Pathways eligible; I will be applying for Medicine or Dentistry next year; and that without this bursary, I could not attend an Applican course otherwise *
